• 11/2 Cups flour
  • 1 Teaspoon salt
  • 1 Teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 Cup butter or margarine
  • 3/4 Cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 3/4 Cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 Teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 Cups puffed cereal
  • 2 Cups California raisins


Sift flour, salt and baking soda together; set aside. Cream butter until light and fluffy. Add sugars and cream thoroughly. Beat in eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla, then sifted dry ingredients, blending well. Stir in cereal and raisins. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheet. Bake at 375°F for 10 to 12 minutes.
