Ingredients

  • 1 Package refrigerator biscuits
  • spreadable butter
  • 11/2 Teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/4 Cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 Cup California raisins
  • 1/2 Cup California golden raisins
  • cooking spray

Procedure

Spray your muffin tin with the cooking spray so that your popovers won’t stick. Mix together your brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. roll out each individual biscuit until flat. Spread a think amount of butter on top and then sprinkle with the brown sugar/cinnamon mixture and then top with raisins. Now you won’t need to use a lot of the brown sugar (I did not use the full 1/4 cup on all 8 popovers) because California Raisins are so naturally sweet. They alone will make these after-school popovers taste delicious! Roll up each biscuit and then using a pizza cutter, slice into thirds. Arrange the three pieces into a single muffin cup. Continue until you have prepared all 8 biscuits.
