Ingredients

  • 1 Cup butter or margarine
  • 1/2 Cup sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 Teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 Drops almond extract
  • 2 Cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 Teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 Cup California raisins

Procedure

Cream butter and sugar; blend in egg yolk and extracts. Sift flour with salt; stir into mixture along with raisins. Drop by small teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheet. Bake at 400°F for 10 to 12 minutes or until delicately browned.
