Ingredients
- 10 cloves garlic, sliced
- 3/4 Cup thinly sliced onion
- 1/4 Cup vegetable oil
- 1 Cup ketchup
- 11/2 Cups water
- 1/4 Cup cider vinegar
- 1/4 Cup Worcestershire sauce
- 3/4 Cup California raisins
- 1/2 Teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon salt
- 1 Teaspoon liquid smoke (optional)
Procedure
Cook garlic and onion in oil until garlic is golden. Add remaining ingredients and bring to boil. Reduce to simmering and cook 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cool. Pour sauce into blender or food processor and pulse until smooth. Store in refrigerator.
