Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup butter or margarine
  • 3/4 Cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 Teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 Cups quick oats, uncooked
  • 1 Cup California raisins

Procedure

In large skillet, melt butter and brown sugar. Remove from heat and stir in the remaining ingredients. Spread into greased 13×9-inch pan. Bake at 350°F for 15 to 20 minutes. Cool; cut into squares.
