Ingredients

  • 11/2 Cups California golden raisins
  • 1/4 Cup butter
  • 1/4 Cup sugar
  • 4 Teaspoons olive oil
  • 2 Tablespoons port wine
  • Salt; to taste

Procedure

Stir raisins in a saucepan over medium heat until slightly browned. Add butter and sugar. Pour in wine and simmer for 6 to 8 minutes. Stir in olive oil and salt to taste. Set aside.
