Ingredients
- 21/2 Cups all-purpose flour, divided
- 1 Cup sugar
- 1/2 Cup sour cream
- 1/2 Cup softened butter
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 2 Teaspoons ground nutmeg
- 1/2 Teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 Teaspoon salt
- 21/4 Cups California raisins
Procedure
Reserve 1 cup flour, then combine all other ingredients except raisins in large mixer bowl. Beat on medium speed, scraping bowl often, until smooth, 2 to 3 minutes. Stir in remaining flour and raisins by hand, until blended. Cover; refrigerate and chill at least 2 hours.
Preheat oven to 350°F. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls, 2 inches apart, onto greased cookie sheets. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
