Ingredients

Pecan Praline Mix

  • 1 Cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 Teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/3 Cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 3/4 Cup coarsely chopped pecans

Procedure

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Pecan Praline Mix

Mix brown sugar and cinnamon together; cut in butter until crumbly. Mix in pecans. Set aside.

Coffee Cake

Grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan. In large bowl, beat butter, sugar and vanilla until fluffy. Blend in eggs one at a time. Then, stir in raisins. Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add to bowl alternately with sour cream. Mix until smooth. Spread half of batter in pan. Sprinkle with half of Pecan Praline Mix; repeat layers. Bake 50 minutes or until done. Cool in pan 10 minutes; turn out on wire rack.

Coffee Cake

  • 1/2 Cup butter or margarine
  • 3/4 Cup sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 eggs
  • 11/2 Cups California raisins
  • 2 Cups flour
  • 1 Teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 Teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 Teaspoon salt
  • 1 Cup light sour cream
