Ingredients

  • 1 Cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 Cup sugar
  • 3 Cups quick-cooking oats, uncooked
  • 3/4 Cup flour
  • 1 Teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 Teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/2 Cup cinnamon
  • 1 Cup California raisins
  • 1/4 Cup milk

Procedure

In large mixing bowl, blend together butter and sugar; add oats. Sift together flour, baking soda, cloves and cinnamon. Add to oats mixture, blending well. Stir in raisins and milk; mix thoroughly. Roll dough into 1-inch balls. Place 3 inches apart on greased baking sheets. Bake at 350°F for 12 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove to wire rack to cool.
