Raisin Maple Glaze

Nothing better to glaze Thanksgiving turkey!
  • Yields 2 cups

    • 3/4 cup vegetable oil
    • 3 tablespoons sugar
    • 3 tablespoons chili powder
    • 1 1/2 teaspoons coarse ground black pepper
    • 3/4 cup pure maple syrup
    • 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
    • 1/2 cup California raisins


    Combine all ingredients in a blender container. Process until smooth. Baste turkey or ham and roast, basting with glaze every 20 minutes, until done.
