Raisin Currant Sauce
A little mustard, some currant jelly and California raisins to make a traditional ham sauce in a hurry.
- 1 cup California raisins
- 2/3 cup water
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 tablespoon grated orange peel
- 1 cup currant jelly
In a small saucepan, boil raisins and water until the water is almost absorbed. Remove from heat and add the mustard, orange peel and currant jelly; heat thoroughly, blending ingredients well. Serve warm or cold with ham, game or poultry.
