Ingredients

  • 1 Cup (5 1/2 ounces) mixed dried fruit
  • 3/4 Cup California raisins
  • 11/2 Cups water
  • 21/2 Tablespoons sugar
  • 11/2 Tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 orange, thinly sliced

Procedure

Combine mixed dried fruit and raisins together in a 1-quart casserole. Add water. Cover and bake at 325°F for 1 hour. Add sugar and lemon juice, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Add orange slices. Serve warm or chill and serve topped with a spoonful of sour cream.
