Cabbage Salad with California Raisins
A creamy coleslaw with apples and raisins.
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
- 1 package (16 ounces) prepared coleslaw mix
- 1/2 cup chopped apple
- 1/2 cup California raisins
- 1 tablespoon cumin seeds
In a salad bowl, stir together cream, vinegar, sugar, salt and white pepper. Add coleslaw mix, apple and raisins; mix together. Sprinkle with cumin seeds. Let stand at least 30 minutes before serving.
