Look Who’s Training With Raisins

Just as Olympic mania was all the buzz, the California Raisin Marketing Board launched a new print advertising campaign spotlighting some of today’s top female athletes. The advertising strategy was to use opinion leaders to reach the target market of women with families. Athletes like those featured in the new campaign are physically fit, healthy and perfectly represent the benefits of a healthy lifestyle, which includes fueling up with California raisins. So, it’s not only world class chefs who turn to raisins to create their magic, but world champion athletes, too.

California raisins’ incredible nutritional profile and convenience packaging make them an ideal source of energy and nourishment for Jenny Thompson, World Champion Swimmer, Julie Foudy, World Champion Soccer Player and Stacy Draglia, World Champion Pole Vaulter.

Jenny, Julie and Stacy all have special tips on how they use raisins to give them that extra kick when they need it most!
