Introducing A New Premium Snack Bar

The California Raisin Marketing Board is proud to announce it will be an ingredient partner with Love and Quiches Desserts in a new snack part of the Gourmet Grab and Go® product line. Made with plump California Raisins and whole grain oats, the old-fashioned Oatmeal Chewie is a snack bar targeted to consumers who are on the go and desire a gourmet product.

Love and Quiches Desserts chose to use California Raisins because they serve as a natural sweetener, can be a substitute for preservatives, and maintain structural integrity in the new snack item. This irresistible gourmet snack ships frozen in a 12 bar display merchandiser (4 per case) and has a 30 day shelf life after thaw.

“California Raisins add both functionality and great taste to all types of baked products,” said Larry Blagg, Senior Vice President, California Raisin Marketing Board. “Because only the finest quality ingredients go into every Love and Quiches Desserts bar, California Raisins are the perfect ingredient.”

This irresistible impulse snack item will be featured at the National Restaurant Association Show, May 17-20, in Chicago.
